Cover Reveal! Black Light: Suspended #SatSpanks

Happy Saturday! I’ve been looking forward to sharing this amazing cover with you all. Didn’t Eris Adderly do an outstanding job?!  Even more exciting for me is that I get to announce that the talented Maggie Ryan is joining the Black Light family with our next release in the hot BDSM series.

Check out this awesome cover for Black Light: Suspended by Maggie Ryan.

I just know you’re all going to LOVE Dillon MacAllister and Charlize Fullerton! When they aren’t catching the bad guys together, they are playing hard at Black Light.  Here is our first sneak peek at this amazing story that is set to release in just two short weeks on 3/31.

This scene is from early in Suspended when they are still working together on a joint DEA/FBI task force to catch a drug lord.  They have to work equally hard to try and keep things professional between them, despite the undeniable attraction they have for each other.

“Let’s order,” he said, signaling for the waitress. “You’re tough as shit but you’re a skinny little thing. No more margaritas for you. You need some food to counter that tequila.”

Charlize pulled her mug to her chest as he reached for it. “No way. I’m on vacation now, remember?” As if to emphasize her statement, she sucked down the last of the glass’s contents in one long slurp, giving a long moan of appreciation.

“You’re the only person I know who moans like that,” Dillon said, lifting his beer bottle to his lips.

Charlize swallowed, shaking her head. “God, that’s just so sad, MacAllister.”

Dillon lowered his bottle and gave her a puzzled look then chuckled. “Walked right into that one, didn’t I?”

“Hook, line, and sinker,” Charlie teased, reaching for the menu, but looking at him instead. “If you’ll buy me another margarita, I can give you a list of books, or heck, even some videos that could help you with that problem.”

“How very generous of you,” he interjected. “But that won’t be necessary.”

Closing the menu she sat back and smiled. “Whew, good to know. For a moment there, I thought I was gonna learn that you were lacking in some very vital skills.”

A dimple appeared in his cheek as he bent forward, to whisper, “Don’t you fret, little one. I graduated with top honors in the course Fabulous Bedroom Interactions. That’s the part of the training we take to make us Special FBI Agents.”

She laughed and rolled her eyes. “You are so full of shit, MacAllister.”

“Shut up and order, Fullerton.”

As you can guess, they won’t succeed at keeping their relationship strictly professional. But can Charlie be a tough law enforcement agent by day and learn to be a submissive by night?  You only have two weeks to wait to get answers.

Don’t forget to check out these other awesome authors on the hop!

Excerpt From Black Light: Rocked:

The familiar strain of the Crushing Stone’s number one hit, Proving You Wrong, filled the crowded venue. The rather stuffy crowd that had just minutes before been sipping champagne in their evening wear seemed to shed their restraint. They pushed to their feet as the curtain opened, exposing the band to the cheering crowd.

Samantha had to resist the urge to follow several groups of scantily clad women who pressed past her to rush the runway jutting out into the dance floor. Within minutes the stage was surrounded, several layers deep, with raging fans jumping and shouting for the missing lead singer who had yet to grace the stage.

Her heart raced, anxious for her first glimpse of Jonah and dreading it at the same time. The second he burst out from backstage the spotlight shone on him, making him the center of attention. She had thought she was prepared, but in that moment Sam found herself fighting down the urge to cry.
What a fool she’d been. She’d come to get a glimpse of her old friend, Jonah, but one glance at the man center stage and Samantha knew she was too late. Jonah was gone, swallowed wholly and completely by his larger-than-life persona, Cash Carter.

And he was devastatingly perfect.

While the room clapped and sang along with the Grammy-Award-winning band, Samantha sat frozen in the shadows on her tall stool. She couldn’t take her eyes off the six-foot tall celebrity currently working the crowd with his sexy dance moves.

She struggled to reconcile the current version of the popular musician with the young man she’d felt so close to most of her life. His signature gravelly voice was deeper than she remembered. God, he’d filled out so much and in all the right places, flexing his muscular arms as he fist pumped to the beat of the angry song. His perfect body was encased in body-hugging black leather pants and a sleeveless shirt. Tattoos rippled across his biceps and his shoulder-length dark hair swayed as he moved with the beat of the song. It was when he moved out onto the long runway, getting closer and closer, that Samantha decided she’d got what she came for after all.

Her Jonah was gone.

The reality almost crushed her. It was hard to catch her breath and it was in that moment she had to admit the ugly truth to herself. She’d really come with the hope of feeling a spark of their old connection. That invisible thread that had always bonded them together.

Even as young kids, she’d felt connected to Jonah in a way that felt a bit like magic. She’d felt his presence before he became visible. He’d been able to read her mind, understanding her at times better than she understood herself.

The urge to cry was almost too much. Sam swallowed hard, trying to press down the lump in her throat. As the rest of the huge club pressed in around her, she’d never felt as alone as she did watching Jonah reaching down to accept flowers and small gifts from his adoring fans, making tangible connections with strangers he now cared about more than he did her.

He was so close.

An irrational thought took hold. What might he do if she approached the runway? What could she offer him as her gift? She’d already given him her heart and he’d trampled it.

Her fingers flew to the golden heart locket she’d worn around her neck every day since the day he’d given it to her. It had been the day he’d asked her to his senior prom. The day he’d literally swept her off her feet, kissing her until she’d been out of breath. He’d told her it was to be their promise charm to each other. How many nights had she fallen asleep holding that small locket, filled with a lock of his thick hair, feeling closer, if just for a minute, to her lost friend?

He won’t remember me. He’s moved on. And even if he does recognize me, he couldn’t care less.

Insanity. Unwanted tears finally fell as she sat frozen to her spot, unable to move. She should leave, but instead she felt trapped, there to witness Jonah in all of his perfection as he gyrated his sexy hips like the consummate showman he’d become. She could barely make out the lyrics to the next song, Betrayal, for all the screaming fans. It didn’t matter. She had every note, every syllable, every melody memorized.

By the time the song was winding down, Samantha knew she had to leave. Instead of feeling better, being so close to Jonah had her on the verge of a full-out panic attack, something she hadn’t suffered for years. She was glad now that she hadn’t gone too far into the club. She pushed to her wobbly feet, anxious to get outside to the frigid December air in hopes it would revive her.

She crossed in front of several tables of VIPs and patrons sporting press passes. She’d have to weave through a screaming crowd of fans to make it to the exit. The pounding music started to be drowned out by the pounding in her ears as she grew more and more light-headed. Panic and the compressed space were closing in faster than she could escape.

The music grew softer, almost subdued. Sam glanced back towards the stage as the band began to play their one and only number one ballad from the year before. The lights that had been trained only on Jonah and the band were now scanning the crowd in a haphazard way as the first chords of Forever began, only bringing her tears harder. She’d always hoped he’d been thinking of her as he’d penned the lyrics, so now, seeing him walking out onto the runway to touch the dozens of screaming women as the love poured out of him—well it made her feel foolish.

So foolish she was paralyzed as she stood grounded at the end of the runway as Jonah made his way closer with each step he took. Twenty feet. Ten feet.

What she’d give to touch him again, just once. She was as bad as the screaming fans, desperate for any scrap of the famous musician’s attention and it made her sick to her stomach to admit how much she’d let his desertion hurt her. He’d never hidden his dreams of being a star from her. She had no right to feel the red-hot anger bubbling up. A true friend would be happy for his success. The fact that she resented having lost Jonah to his Cash Carter guise only made her feel guilty.

He was a mere half-dozen feet away from her now as she stood frozen. Unable to go to him. Unable to leave.

She’d never know if it was fate or weird luck that trained the spotlight from above directly on her. It lasted only for a second, but in that moment he turned her way and their eyes met. His eyes widened slightly as his brow furrowed with recognition. Her brain shouted at her to turn and run away before he shunned her publicly, completing her heartbreaking humiliation, but her feet stood planted in her fashion boots.

How much time passed, she’d never know. What she did know was that the crowd was yelling and the musicians were playing the accompaniment to the song Jonah had stopped singing. Groupies pressed closer to the frozen singer, reaching up to the stage to touch his stationary boots while his glare penetrated her to her core.

He sees me. Really sees me.

The thought thrilled and frightened her. She held her breath until she was light-headed. She was in uncharted territory, unsure if she should turn and retreat or advance on the stage. The roving spotlight was back on her, throwing her into the middle of the show whether she liked it or not. She felt all eyes in the three-story club on her as everyone in the room collectively tried to figure out why the lead singer had suddenly stopped singing one of his most popular songs as if he’d forgotten the lyrics he’d written.

She never took her eyes off his, waiting for his expression to give her a hint of what he was thinking, hopeful she’d see her old Jonah crawl out from behind Cash’s polished exterior. She might have been able to handle a nonchalant brush off, but with each second that passed, an angry hatred changed the handsome musician into a frightening adversary.

That’s when she realized there had been one outcome she hadn’t even considered.

He sees me… and he cares, alright.
He hates me.

Cover Reveal: Infamous Love #menage #SatSpanks

Saturday Spankings-Val Heart Paddles-revI’m so excited to announce my upcoming release and share the cover for the first time!!! The talented Eris Adderly made this amazing cover for Infamous Love, the prequel for a new series coming this December.  I am so freaking excited to share this series with you.  In this scene, we find out Emma has been purposefully avoiding being seen in public with her very famous lovers for fear of being ridiculed by the paparazzi.  Let’s see how the men handle her putting herself down.

Jaxson, Emma and Chase

Jaxson, Emma and Chase

“Alright, maybe I should have told you how scared shitless I am to leave the house with you. That I’m pretty sure people will burst out laughing when they see you with me. How social media is going to light up. We’ll be trending on Twitter within an hour and the focus of a scathing TMZ exposé within twenty-four hours.”

Shut the fuck up, Emma. You’re making it worse.

The scowl on Jaxson’s face turned darker as he stepped up to sandwich her between the two men. His hands squeezed her biceps as Chase’s fingers dug into her hips, each holding her stationary.

“Look at me, Emma.”

She’d trained her eyes on his adam’s apple directly in front of her to avoid seeing the disappointment in his eyes.

“Now, Emma.” His order had her snapping to attention.

She’d expected anger, but she saw a sadness in Jax’s eyes. She held her breath waiting for him to bust her for putting herself down.

“I owe you another apology. I was so happy to just hide out for a while that it didn’t dawn on me that you were afraid to leave. I’ll fix that tomorrow. We’re gonna tackle that list of yours together and by the end of the day, you’ll know that all of your fears were unfounded.”

She was smart enough not to laugh at what was surely a joke. It was a good thing too since his next words were scary enough.

“Now what do you think is going to happen next?”

She held her breath, afraid to say the words.

“Emma, answer me. What happens when you put yourself down?”

Her answer was barely audible. “You spank me.”

“No. I spanked you the last time. I see it didn’t take.”

This was not good. What was worse than a spanking?

“Chase, go grab some rope and the wooden paddle. Emma is about to get her first paddling. We’ll see if that makes a more lasting impression on our girl.”

Cover & Blurb Reveal: Melting Silver Coming Soon!!

Squeeee!!  I’m only one week away from my next release on 8/24. I was so honored and thrilled to be invited to write a story for The Red Petticoat Saloon series.  I’ll be honest I’m a little nervous about this one.  First, I’ve never written an historical and this story takes place in the 1850 California gold rush.  Second, I’ve never written a western.  I can’t wait to see what everyone thinks of Emelie and Charlie’s story.

Today I’m sharing my first excerpt.  Enjoy!

13843437_634383540060770_2077948506_oTeaser:  Watching the woman he loves take paying customers upstairs is the hardest thing Charlie Walker has ever had to do.

After thirty minutes of non-stop music, Charlie stood for a short break. A smattering of applause greeted him as he headed to the kitchen for a glass of lemonade. The sight that greeted him when he arrived stopped him in his tracks at the door.

“I’m sorry, Miss Jewel, but I just can’t do it. I thought I could, but I can’t. Please…”

“Take a deep breath. We’ll figure something out,” Jewel comforted. Emelie stood in the middle of the room in the skimpy corset with a too-short skirt of pink petticoats that highlighted her petite bare legs peeking out. Her normally pale complexion was brighter than the pink petticoats that helped draw attention to her pencil thin waist. The fact that the only thing close to ample on her body were her curvy breasts spilling out of the top of her outfit had his already hard cock throbbing with pain in his breeches.

Yep, this was going to be a long night indeed.

He knew the second she spotted him in the doorway because her arms flew up to shield herself, as if she could. The sight of her was forever burned into his brain and he knew the vision would be the fodder for every single-handed wank he ever gave himself in the future.

“Tell her, Charlie.” The room of women had turned, waiting expectantly for him to answer a question he hadn’t heard.

“Excuse me? Can you repeat the question?” he asked sheepishly.

Jewel smiled indulgently. “I was just telling Garnet how beautiful she looked in her uniform.”

“Who the hell is Garnet?” he blurted.

Nettie was closest to him and proceeded to reach up and whack the back of his head. “Are you daft, boy? Emelie of course.”

His feet moved of their own accord, drawing him closer as Emelie’s eyes grew larger with each step he took towards her. By the time he stood next to her, he could swear she’d collapse in a faint if he said “boo.” She was trembling and her fear angered him.

“Begging your pardon, Miss Jewel, but this here gem is no garnet. She’s a shiny piece of silver if I ever saw one.”

Jewel stepped closer. “Yes, well I hardly think it’s her name she’s protesting. Seems she’s having a bit of trouble with the outfit.”

He tried to reassure her. “The first night will be the worst. It’ll take some time getting used to the new uniform.” He tried to make her smile with a wink. “And truthfully, I’m a bit jealous. You wait and see how sweltering hot it’ll get in that crowded room by the end of the night in this summer heat. You’ll be grateful for the lack of heavy clothes, you wait and see.”

“Well, maybe we should switch outfits then and you can see how you like it.” Emelie moved her hands to her hips, looking like she was ready for a fight.

So little Miss Emelie had some spunk after all.

“I’d be happy to, but I’m not sure the customers would take kindly to me wearing a dress and I’m certain they’ll not like you hiding this beautiful body of yours.”

She was embarrassed by his compliment and, in that moment, he knew she was an innocent. God help him, but it only made him want her that much more.

He watched her reaction as he made a suggestion to Jewel. “She says she’s a singer. Why not have her skip serving customers for tonight and sing with me instead? It’ll give her some time to get used to the goings on and break in this here dress. I’ll be able to keep a close eye on her so she doesn’t run into any rowdy customers who don’t want to take no for an answer.”

It sounded like a perfectly fine solution to their problem to him. Nettie thought otherwise, muttering under her breath as she walked back over to the stove to stir what smelled like chicken and dumplings. “We need servers, not singers and if he has his way, it’ll be a lot more than singing going on between them two before the night is over.”

The grin on Jewel’s face confirmed she agreed with her friend. Charlie didn’t much care what they thought. He was too busy being elated at the relief he detected in Emelie.

“You’d do that for me? Let me sing with you?”

He held out his arm as an invitation. “I’m counting on you at least being able to carry a tune. With your looks, you won’t have to be stupendous. You just can’t stink.”

She smiled shyly. “I don’t stink.”

He leaned closer to inhale deeply near her long blonde locks. “No, you most certainly do not.” He fought the urge to reach out and smooth down an errant curl. “Let’s go pick out some songs you know.”

Emelie Svennson’s dream is to sing on stage. When a musical troupe passes through her home in Wisconsin, she believes her dream will be fulfilled when the leader invites her to be the star of his show. By the time she realizes he is nothing more than an abusive bully and her dream is now her nightmare, she finds herself stranded in San Francisco with no money and on the run from the law.  As she tries to make her way home to her family, she stops in Culpepper Cove and is drawn to the amazing melodies coming from the Red Petticoat Saloon.  The handsome piano player is almost as remarkable as his music.

Charlie Walker adores all of the gems he works with, but from the minute he meets Emelie, he knows there is something special about her. As much as he wants her to stay in Culpepper Cove, the thought of her putting on red petticoats and entertaining men upstairs as Silver cuts him to the core.

As their pasts clash, Charlie will have to work hard to convince his new gem that he will not only love and honor her, but that he won’t hesitate to drag her across his knee for a bare-bottomed spanking that promises to warm more than just her backside.  Can he convince the woman with the voice of an angel that dreams can come true?

Haven’t given the Red Petticoat Saloon a read yet? Start here with Madam Jewel’s story!

Watch for the release coming on 8/24!
