Cover & Blurb Reveal: Melting Silver Coming Soon!!

Squeeee!!  I’m only one week away from my next release on 8/24. I was so honored and thrilled to be invited to write a story for The Red Petticoat Saloon series.  I’ll be honest I’m a little nervous about this one.  First, I’ve never written an historical and this story takes place in the 1850 California gold rush.  Second, I’ve never written a western.  I can’t wait to see what everyone thinks of Emelie and Charlie’s story.

Today I’m sharing my first excerpt.  Enjoy!

13843437_634383540060770_2077948506_oTeaser:  Watching the woman he loves take paying customers upstairs is the hardest thing Charlie Walker has ever had to do.

Excerpt:

After thirty minutes of non-stop music, Charlie stood for a short break. A smattering of applause greeted him as he headed to the kitchen for a glass of lemonade. The sight that greeted him when he arrived stopped him in his tracks at the door.

“I’m sorry, Miss Jewel, but I just can’t do it. I thought I could, but I can’t. Please…”

“Take a deep breath. We’ll figure something out,” Jewel comforted. Emelie stood in the middle of the room in the skimpy corset with a too-short skirt of pink petticoats that highlighted her petite bare legs peeking out. Her normally pale complexion was brighter than the pink petticoats that helped draw attention to her pencil thin waist. The fact that the only thing close to ample on her body were her curvy breasts spilling out of the top of her outfit had his already hard cock throbbing with pain in his breeches.

Yep, this was going to be a long night indeed.

He knew the second she spotted him in the doorway because her arms flew up to shield herself, as if she could. The sight of her was forever burned into his brain and he knew the vision would be the fodder for every single-handed wank he ever gave himself in the future.

“Tell her, Charlie.” The room of women had turned, waiting expectantly for him to answer a question he hadn’t heard.

“Excuse me? Can you repeat the question?” he asked sheepishly.

Jewel smiled indulgently. “I was just telling Garnet how beautiful she looked in her uniform.”

“Who the hell is Garnet?” he blurted.

Nettie was closest to him and proceeded to reach up and whack the back of his head. “Are you daft, boy? Emelie of course.”

His feet moved of their own accord, drawing him closer as Emelie’s eyes grew larger with each step he took towards her. By the time he stood next to her, he could swear she’d collapse in a faint if he said “boo.” She was trembling and her fear angered him.

“Begging your pardon, Miss Jewel, but this here gem is no garnet. She’s a shiny piece of silver if I ever saw one.”

Jewel stepped closer. “Yes, well I hardly think it’s her name she’s protesting. Seems she’s having a bit of trouble with the outfit.”

He tried to reassure her. “The first night will be the worst. It’ll take some time getting used to the new uniform.” He tried to make her smile with a wink. “And truthfully, I’m a bit jealous. You wait and see how sweltering hot it’ll get in that crowded room by the end of the night in this summer heat. You’ll be grateful for the lack of heavy clothes, you wait and see.”

“Well, maybe we should switch outfits then and you can see how you like it.” Emelie moved her hands to her hips, looking like she was ready for a fight.

So little Miss Emelie had some spunk after all.

“I’d be happy to, but I’m not sure the customers would take kindly to me wearing a dress and I’m certain they’ll not like you hiding this beautiful body of yours.”

She was embarrassed by his compliment and, in that moment, he knew she was an innocent. God help him, but it only made him want her that much more.

He watched her reaction as he made a suggestion to Jewel. “She says she’s a singer. Why not have her skip serving customers for tonight and sing with me instead? It’ll give her some time to get used to the goings on and break in this here dress. I’ll be able to keep a close eye on her so she doesn’t run into any rowdy customers who don’t want to take no for an answer.”

It sounded like a perfectly fine solution to their problem to him. Nettie thought otherwise, muttering under her breath as she walked back over to the stove to stir what smelled like chicken and dumplings. “We need servers, not singers and if he has his way, it’ll be a lot more than singing going on between them two before the night is over.”

The grin on Jewel’s face confirmed she agreed with her friend. Charlie didn’t much care what they thought. He was too busy being elated at the relief he detected in Emelie.

“You’d do that for me? Let me sing with you?”

He held out his arm as an invitation. “I’m counting on you at least being able to carry a tune. With your looks, you won’t have to be stupendous. You just can’t stink.”

She smiled shyly. “I don’t stink.”

He leaned closer to inhale deeply near her long blonde locks. “No, you most certainly do not.” He fought the urge to reach out and smooth down an errant curl. “Let’s go pick out some songs you know.”

Blurb:

Emelie Svennson’s dream is to sing on stage. When a musical troupe passes through her home in Wisconsin, she believes her dream will be fulfilled when the leader invites her to be the star of his show. By the time she realizes he is nothing more than an abusive bully and her dream is now her nightmare, she finds herself stranded in San Francisco with no money and on the run from the law.  As she tries to make her way home to her family, she stops in Culpepper Cove and is drawn to the amazing melodies coming from the Red Petticoat Saloon.  The handsome piano player is almost as remarkable as his music.

Charlie Walker adores all of the gems he works with, but from the minute he meets Emelie, he knows there is something special about her. As much as he wants her to stay in Culpepper Cove, the thought of her putting on red petticoats and entertaining men upstairs as Silver cuts him to the core.

As their pasts clash, Charlie will have to work hard to convince his new gem that he will not only love and honor her, but that he won’t hesitate to drag her across his knee for a bare-bottomed spanking that promises to warm more than just her backside.  Can he convince the woman with the voice of an angel that dreams can come true?

Three Doms and a Baby #6BestHop

Six of the Best-450-1

Happy day! It’s release day and how appropriate that my newest story “Expecting It All” is delivering a week early!   Come join your favorite Passion Series characters as they welcome Derek and Rachel’s baby into the world.  Ever wonder how an age play couple deals with a real live baby?  A hint… the working title of this book was Three Doms and a Baby!

ExpectingItAll1Excerpt:

“Will you shut the hell up!” Derek did not need this shit. “Rachel’s in the hospital.”
There was dead air until Lukus muttered, “Well, shit. Is she okay?”
“Oh yeah, she’s fine. Me, on the other hand… I’m a fucking mess. She’s in labor, Lukus. We’re having the baby.”

“Wait. What? Like now?”

“Right now. Her water broke. They’re getting her settled in her room right this damn minute. I’m not ready for this. I’m supposed to have more time.”

Leave it to his best friend to chuckle at a time like this. “Yeah, well, I don’t think it works like that.”

Derek could hear Tiffany’s excited questions in the background and Lukus filling her in.

An awkward reticence hung on the call before Lukus proved he really did know what he was going through. “Listen, you need to hold it together. Everything is going to be fine. Women have babies every day. You’re in the right place. Do you like her doctor?”

“I guess,” Derek said.

“Then trust him.”

“Would you trust strangers with Tiffany’s health?” Derek knew Lukus’s feelings for his fiancée were as strong as Derek’s were for his wife.

“I would. You and I… we both suffer from the same problem. We’re used to being incontrol. Losing control sucks, but you don’t have a choice today. We know jack-shit about medicine, so you’ve done the next best thing. You have her in a safe place with people who know what they’re doing.”

“I suppose so.”

Blurb:

Have you ever wondered what happens to the relationship when age-play couples decide to have children? Derek and Rachel Parker have been married for five years, and while Rachel adores her ‘Daddy’, and being his little girl, she longs to have a baby of her own.

When she finally becomes pregnant, Rachel is overjoyed, but all too soon she begins to realize that a baby changes everything. How can she still be her Daddy’s ‘little girl’ when she becomes a mother herself? None of the pregnancy advice books say anything about maintaining a healthy age-play/BDSM relationship in the face of real parenthood.

Derek, too, finds himself tormented by sudden fears and doubts. He loves caring for Rachel as a BDSM ‘Daddy’, but this will be different. He’s going to be a real father to a real infant; wholly dependent on him for round-the-clock care and nurturing. Can he do it?

‘Expecting it All’ takes a deeper look into the psychology and love behind age-play. Don’t miss this opportunity to get a front row seat as we watch two beloved characters from the Passion Series have their new, exciting futures shaped with childbirth and parenthood, through tears and laughter. All the characters you know and love from Grant’s powerful ensemble cast make an appearance in this, the fifth, fun, and light-hearted installment of Livia Grant’s best-selling series! Best of all, this book can be read as a standalone!

Expecting it All Cover Reveal #SatSpanks

Saturday Spankings-Val Heart Paddles-revNot only do I have an exciting cover reveal for my next book, Expecting it All, but I am THRILLED that we have expedited the release date and it will be released TOMORROW! Yes, just in time for Valentine’s Day.  And this book is the perfect love story for a romantic holiday.  Check out this snippet from early in the book from Rachel’s POV.

Snippet:

Ethan was back a few minutes later, a Disney sippy cup of heated milk on his tray. As Rachel reached for the juvenile beverage, she worried what her new friend would think about a grown woman drinking from a child’s cup. Confusing emotions she’d been wrangling with throughout her pregnancy flared within her once again, making her wish she’d stayed home.

Instead of making her feel bad, Matt Chamberlin grinned. “So I see at least that story was accurate.”

“Which story is that?”

“That you’re a little. I’d heard Derek was a Daddy Dom, but since I hadn’t seen him in action, I thought that was a tall tale.”

Rach smiled. “Nope. That one is true.” Doubt crowded, her smile slipping. “Well, at least, it was.”

Cover Reveal: Protecting it All #SatSpanks

We are in the one week countdown until Protecting it All, book four in the Passion Series is released on January 23rd.  To say I’m excited is an understatement.  This book is (by far) the most intense I’ve written. The words did not jump onto the page.  The story came out kicking and screaming, but in the end, I’m thrilled with the end product.  Only time will tell if my fans are as thrilled as I am. 🙂

So today, in honor of #SatSpanks, I’m releasing my brand new cover.  Isn’t it awesome? Meet Dylan and Hannah.  Here’s a little excerpt from Protecting it All from Dylan’s POV.

ProtectingItAll

Snippet:

Dylan Parker’s right leg bounced up and down self-consciously. He was wired on caffeine, adrenaline and dread. If he didn’t already know for a fact that the seemingly average ranch home he was staking out was a veritable fortress, he would have stormed it already, Lukus Mitchell be damned. He’d only worked for Titan Securities for a few weeks, but he already hated the fucking job. As the new guy, he’d been relegated to stakeout duty, which meant long boring hours of no activity.

Boredom wasn’t why he hated the job.

What he loathed was following a lowlife like Jake Davenport and not being able to do jack-shit to intervene. In the weeks Dylan had been trailing the prick, he’d seen more horrendous grievances against women than in his entire two duties in Afghanistan as a decorated Marine sniper.

It turned his stomach to think what might be happening inside the brick home he had his binoculars trained on. He’d sat outside this home many nights and had seen at least three other women go inside. In every case, they’d come out looking worse for the wear – sometimes limping – often disheveled – always scared.

Davenport only brought the innocent ones home with him.

What had Dylan most upset was that tonight it wasn’t just some nameless victim inside that house. Tonight it was Hannah Martine. He wasn’t prepared for the protective anger he felt on behalf of Davenport’s newest victim.

Six Hours – Erotic Menage Coming Soon #6BestHop

Six of the Best-450-1

I’m so excited to have a new release on the horizon.  I’m part of this awesome writer’s group called The Erotic Collective and our next boxed set will be out on October 7th.  The name of the release is The More the Merrier Two and all of the stories have ménage (or more) romances.  My novella is a M/m/f ménage named Six Hours and I had so much fun writing this one!

Today I’m sharing my very first excerpt from early in the story.  Emma had noticed the two handsome men waiting in the train station with her, but never dreamed she’d ever meet them, let alone have them come to her rescue.

TMTM2-cover-3D

Excerpt:

“Knock it off! Leave me alone!” Emma elbowed the largest of the four when he leaned in, rubbing up against her as she felt him fumbling for her purse. At least she’d hidden her passport and plane ticket carefully, but she couldn’t afford to lose the last few Euros she had.

When she felt hands feeling up her breasts from behind, she stopped protecting her money, worried the hoodlums had something more sinister than theft in mind. Her fear was confirmed as they worked in unison to start dragging her towards a nearby private locker area. Emma knew if they got her somewhere hidden, anything could happen. She flailed with all of her strength, but the laughing teens only gripped her harder and moved faster, lifting her off the ground and carrying her towards the lockers.

Emma filled her lungs with air and screamed as loud as possible, trying to make enough of a scene that the hoodlums would release her. All that happened was a dirty hand got clamped over her mouth to try to stifle her. She bit her assailant, dragging what she assumed was a French curse word from him.

She closed her eyes and tried to think of how she’d get out of this mess. They’d almost succeeded in getting her alone when she was unceremoniously dropped the few feet to the concrete. She landed on her ass first, but when the guy supporting her head let go too, it crashed back to connect with the unforgiving floor with a crack.

Through her confusion, she found herself curled up in the middle of a fistfight happening all around her. She wondered if she was dreaming as she watched the two American hotties punch out two of the assailants. It took them seconds to send all four of the teens running in different directions.

The most beautiful green eyes she had ever seen peered down at her. She was mesmerized by their intensity long enough that she didn’t realize his mouth was moving too.

“I think we need to call a doctor. She appears unresponsive.” Green-eyes spoke. What was his name again? John? Jim?

“Okay, I’ll go in search of help.” She recognized that deep voice.

She eventually snapped out of it to answer them. “I only bumped my head.”

I only bumped my head.

Those were the best first words she could come up with when talking to the two hottest men on the planet? The bump on her head wasn’t making it any easier to speak intelligently.

“I mean you don’t need to get a doctor. I’ll be fine.”

She wasn’t prepared for the dark-haired hottie to scold her. “What the hell were you doing letting them surround you? Beautiful women traveling alone need to pay more attention.”

Had he used the word beautiful as he spoke of her? He must not have gotten a good look at her.

She felt his hand lifting her to gently feel the back of her head, checking for injuries. His fingers massaged her scalp sending tingles throughout her body. “You have the start of a goose-egg there. We’d better get you an ice pack and some Tylenol. Can you sit up?”

Blurb:

When Emma Fischer is stranded in the south of France, she’s short on cash and unable to speak French. The friend she’d been traveling with deserts her to gallivant around Europe leaving Emma on her own to navigate from the French Riviera to Paris in time to catch her flight back home to Wisconsin.

Jaxson Davidson and Chase Cartright are high-demand fashion models, in France for a shoot. Sparks fly when they come to Emma’s rescue at the train station. The men have their pick of women, but they recognize curvy Emma is exactly the type of woman they prefer to spend time with. The best friends invite her to join them in their private berth for the six-hour ride to Paris.

Emma gets on the train a girl, but the intimate time spent in the men’s arms turns her into a woman. Her only problem is surviving the good-bye.

Six Hours is a M/m/f erotic romance novella with explicit ménage sex scenes and light BDSM.
